Telkoi, Harichandanpur, Jhumpura, Joda & Bansapal blocks are pre-dominantly dominated by the tribal community, majority inhabitants are belonging to primitive tribal group i.e., Bhuyan & Juang. This is also one of the underprivileged areas in terms of food availability, infrastructure, inequality of resources and socio-economic life. The block is very rich in natural resources. In contrast, the majority of inhabitants are very poor and destitute. To see the above situations RVDO focused its strength for development of the downtrodden of the said areas which is highly neglected by all development agencies.
